Specialists in Datalogic barcode scanners and scales, we have been active in the Retail market since 1984 and specialise in the installation and repair of Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) systems. We currently work with a variety of customers including retailers, manufacturers and distributers from the very largest food and non-food chains through smaller independents. What is the difference between 2D & 1D scanning?
2D Scanners will read a wider variety of barcodes such as standard barcodes found on most products to ‘QR’ codes that you often see on mobile devices or discount vouchers. These types of barcodes carry a lot more data & are becoming increasingly common in the modern retail environment. 1D will read standard barcodes found on most items.

Do my scales need to be trade approved/stamped/verified?
All scales intended for trade use need to be ‘verified’ by a qualified body, this is a test of accuracy of your scale. A passed scale is issued with a certificate & approved marks on the scale for proof of accuracy WMA are qualified to undertake this service.

My scale has been disqualified by Trading Standards or is faulty. Can it be repaired?
WMA can repair and calibrate many makes and models of scales.
